Growing for the Future

Our Gold Award Thursday Gardening Club meets at The Brogdale Farm

Join Sunni & Zac at Growing for the Future; a gardening club for 8 -16-year-olds to learn new skills, take part in regional events and make new friends!

If you come to Growing for the Future you will get to learn the whole process of seed to harvest, getting involved practically and seeing your crops grow! Of course, the club is also a place to make new friends with Sunni & Zac ensuring we all work as a team!

This club is available to all young people and is disability friendly.

Going for Gold
The group works alongside our team to plan, grow and deliver a garden for the Kent County Show and in previous years they have won Gold.

The 2011 garden was visited by HRH the Duke of Kent and in 2012 by John Craven from Countryfile.  In 2013 the garden shown was judged to be 1 point less than Hadlow College’s garden. This was a fantastic outcome for our students who are not professionals or at a horticulture college!

The club costs £3 and is run the first three Thursdays of each month!
