812 Squad Faversham

812 Squad!

This is a great place to make new friends, learn new skills and about the environment, and of course, have a lot of fun! We would also love to get involved in lots of community activities, from helping to clean up the local area, and entering local competitions to getting involved and town events.

Then there is all the really good fun stuff we also do like, arts, dancing, group games, volleyball, tag rugby, and much much more! We spend time debating issues and how to solve them. If something big has happened in the news we let the young people express their feelings about this. We might also look at better ways of dealing with some of the BG Stuff… whether it’s moving up from primary to secondary school, making friends, or any problems they may have. The staff here feel that confidence is most important and we encourage our young people to believe in themselves and to gain self-esteem. We encourage them to try new things and have fun.

So pop along to have fun, chill out, hang out, and meet friends. We have a number of activities available from playing video games, lego, DVD nights, 10-pin bowling, to using the garden site, making things, and singing. These are only some of the things available for young people to do.
