This week Muddy Wellies entered their first horticultural show! This was an exciting opportunity for the learners to show off their hard work from the last year!

As members of The Brabourne and Smeeth Garden Society, we entered our produce into the Summer Show.
Students picked and selected the best and most uniform vegetables and flowers, entering 3 classes
First was a vegetable class; our 3 courgettes looked good but were beaten by the competition. Next was a jam jar arrangement of home flowers and we scooped 3rd prize!
Last but not least were our redcurrants and the careful selection work paid off and we won First Prize!!!

You can come to visit Muddy Wellies on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th of July, from 11am to 3pm to purchase one of our many plants, flowers, and hanging baskets.
