April has been full of creative flow across all our sites – we’ve had preparations for Chelsea gardens, sign making, plant pot decorating and much more!
Creativity is part of the BCIC group culture and flows through our youth work, businesses, and college. Of course, we see it most vibrantly in our Creative Crafts courses delivered in Ashford, Faversham & Iwade.
Learners at the Walled Garden have been perfecting their painting techniques. We were really thankful for the lovely sunshine so we could make a mess!
It’s great to see our learners’ art on display. The Walled Garden has its own gallery wall showing off their work. We also were invited to display our work in Faversham Town Centre at 12 Market Place – which was a real honour
This week Learners at The Nook have had a visit from someone who uses creativity in her everyday life! This was a great opportunity for us to learn about the creative industry and how we can progress towards it.
Lesley Stewart from LS Images, came to The Nook to share about her work, how she got to where she is, and show us some of her photography. It was extremely interesting and inspiring.
Elsewhere at The Nook we have been learning about fabrics and creativity embarking on tie-dye, garment embellishments and much more.
Yet it is not just Creative Crafts which flows with creativity. Here are some examples of where we see it elsewhere in the BCIC group!
April was full of creativity for us! How did you add creativity to the month?
