Painting & Decorating Tutor

Brogdale CIC is looking for a part time community painter and decorator to train and work with young adults.

We are looking for a painter and decorator who is passionate about their craft and would like to inspire other people to take up the profession.  The role would involve working with Optivo Housing Association who will recruit and guide a group of young people to assist them with learning new skills to seek employment.  

Hours of Work: Two days per week.  This is a flexible contract where you will be delivering 3 set training sessions for Optivo Fresh Visions partnership with Brogdale CIC.  Each course runs for 6 weeks, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and would be asked to work two days per week.   

Start Date: June 2022

Remuneration:  £17 per hour.

Full-Time TA with Team Leader responsibilities

Full Time Position available for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for Craftworks College with Team Leader responsibilities for VIBE working with Learning Tree and TRUST (Teens r us Teams), part of The  Brogdale CIC Group, based in Ashford for an immediate start. 

Salary: £12 – £14 per hour depending on age and experience.  

Status: Teaching Assistant

Craftworks college is looking for a qualified and or experienced Teaching Assistant who is able to work with a range of special educational needs and young people who are disabled and/or disadvantaged.  Craftworks College as part of the Brogdale CIC Group works across 7 sites delivering education to disadvantaged and disabled young people in Swale and Ashford.  The applicant will need to be computer literate, have education to level 2 in English and Maths, be able to self-manage, and work as part of a team.

Status: Team Leader for Short Breaks

VIBE are looking for a new team member with Team Leader responsibility to oversee TRUST, running fun activities for 8-18 year olds with disabilities in the Ashford area.  The role when incorporated wtih the TA position, is full time as the clubs run during the school holidays, after school and some weekends. This is a varied role and as such we are looking for an individual who is able to plan, prepare and deliver activities with excellent scheduling and time management skills.  

Essential Skills required: Experience with helping people with personal care.  This role requires someone who knows Makaton or BSL.
