Does anyone else remember sitting next to the radio, cross fingered, desperately waiting to hear that your school was closed for a snow day? Perhaps now we are all proficient in distance learning, that will be something for the history books!
The bleak weather conditions are set to remain for most of the week and this is making it difficult for staff and students to travel to the college sites.
The risk of travelling to sites is very high and we have to consider the health and safety of the sites in these conditions too. In addition, this is preventing the weekly covid testing.
With this in mind, all Craftworks College sites will remain closed all this week. No students will be on site this week at any of the sites. No staff should be on-site either, unless specifically instructed to do so, for example, for animal welfare reasons, etc.
For this week we all tutors and TAs will move all students to distance learning. This will mean different things to different students and we will s make contact with you all to let you know what it means for you!
