Did you know that KCC has set up a new award called Lockdown Legends! It is to recognise the fantastic achievements young people aged 8 to 19 (or up to 25 with additional needs) have made in lockdown. When we heard about this we just had to send in a nomination for this group of young people!
These four took the time to create these mini pep talks, which then got sent out to year six classes, that we would normally support in June & July! Watching it you can see why these young people make great mentors and were worthy of the award. It was lovely being able to chat with their parents and hear how delighted they were to hear about the award nomination! Certificates of recognition are winging their way to the school!
