Pumpkins are back on sale (by donation) at Muddy Wellies this half term! Last year we had some very seasonally dressed little pickers come along to pick their favourite gourds for carving into wonderful lanterns.
We loved seeing people’s creations last year!
Our squash selection is not just for carving, these make tasty pies and soups or whatever your culinary skills can concoct!
Linda in our office or suggests a pumpkin risotto or maybe even brownie. My (Lou) personal favourite is to swap out potato in a cottage pie and pop pumpkin on top instead (roast it first with cinnamon, then mash!), of course, I would never turn down a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Helen our Food with Friends café manager favours Pumpkin Pie or a warming soup!
Muddy Welles Community Farm in Smeeth will be open 10-4.30 Wednesday- Friday in half term, with Pumpkins for sale (donation only – cash accepted). This year we can’t offer picking but all our Pumpkins are ready and waiting for your choosing. Don’t forget to send us pictures of your creations – you can tag us on social media @brogdalecic or send them to firstname.lastname@example.org
