Baptism of fire!

There is never a dull moment when you work for Brogdale CIC and last Friday was the perfect example…

Sian kindly stepped in replacing Rebecca for the evening, to run the Lego Club in Ashford.  Sian felt supremely confident, having raised two grown up sons, that she could handle the usual 8 or so children and a few small bricks.

WOW

17 children showed up!

The most ever at the club!  One and a half hours of building, playing, jumping, bouncing, sliding, plating, and a lot of laughter and giggles!!  Thankfully Zac, our experienced Youth Apprentice Worker was on hand to help Sian keep all the youngsters occupied and make sure they all had fun!

If you would like to come along to our Lego Club, it runs the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, 4.30-6pm at the Rainbow Centre, Ashford and is for children with a disability and their siblings. There is a sensory room, a soft play area and a lego/duplo table.

For more information please email amy@brogdalecic.co.uk or come along for a free taster session (usual session is £3 per child).
