Pruning time – to the rescue

Over these past few weeks it has been very much, Pruning time to the rescue!
Donned with a new, personalised uniform, our very own A-team of infrastructure, have been our ‘fairy god-brothers’ fixing and maintaining the vast landscape of Muddy wellies farm. They set about building a fence, to protect the many blossoming seedlings which have been struggling due to the “curse of the were-rabbits.” Our furry friends are now being kept at bay.
The team also added plumbing, to their many CV skills, by digging up some troublesome water mains, fixing the leaks and neatly packing them with fresh, overturned soil. BrogdaleCIC, being eco-friendly, are proving there is no such thing as waste this week. Keeping the outdoor cycle churning, Pruning time have been putting to use, last season’s tree and log cuttings. Firstly some were chipped and went to join the ever expanding pathways guiding you around the farm, and secondly, with the summer approaching – and it being England, we are preparing for winter! The guys have been seasoning and cutting logs to be ready for the log burner come winter and its icy wrath!
