The schools have become budding kitchen gardeners this month each planting their own pea-pods and seedlings.
Foxwood in particular, braving the intense weather of a cold and windy day, to tend to their now extensively growing peas and runner beans.
St Nicholas have been valiantly mulching away defending their flower beds from daredevil weeds ending their day planting individual sunflowers (who will grow the tallest i wonder?)
Highview also planted various seedlings, tending to beds as they went and extremely successfully managed to rejuvenate their entire patch by hand over turning and conditioning the wintery soil. All amazingly without the use of the tractor, just with a bit of good old, back to basic, elbow grease.
